Lafour Theatre School Presents ‘The Wizard of Oz!’

Spring Term classes re-commence 14th January 2011

Fees: £48 per 12 week term.

Private Singing Lessons

Students wishing to improve their singing technique can have private singing lessons. This will help improve their breathing, confidence and performance.
The price for private singing lessons per half hour is £12.50

LTC Repertoire will be based on:

• Classical Literature & Poetry
• Contemporary literature and poetry
• Classic Comedy
• Creating new plays from Improvisation
• Writing new plays
• Short films
• Street Theatre Musicals

Entry requirement:

• Acting ability
• Strong singing voice
• Knowledge of dance
• Imagination
• Creative thinking
• Enthusiasm
• Commitment
• Energy
• Passion to perform
• Mature attitude

Centre Stage students aged 16 + yrs can apply for selection. Outside students will need to audition.

LTC Audition:

• 2 x contrasting drama pieces of 1-2 mins each
• The verse and chorus of a song - unaccompanied
• Interview
• Sight reading assessment
• Improvisation
